Before and after Zoey photoshopped.

Heal brush was used to get rid of all of her spots, to do this I created a new layer so that if i went wrong it would not appear on the original. Then I chose a bit of her skin then clicked the alt key and then left clicked to copy the colour of that bit of skin. But for different parts of her face I had to get a new colour for example spots on her cheeks were surrounded by rosy skin. After covering all of her spots I proceeded to mess around with the tools. In order to change her eye-colour I selected the eye and created a new layer then put a colour in it and changed the transparency of the eye to make it look more natural. I did exactly the same when changing the colour of the lips and hair.

Evaluation of my magazine front cover.

Evaluation of my magazine front cover.

I named my magazine ‘Trash’ as I was aiming it at a specific youth audience with a stereotype of scene, indie or bogger; I feel the title would encourage those people to purchase it as it is very straight forward and you can guess the kind of content it will contain.

The interview with Joan Jett section would catch the eyes of these stereotypes as you’d expect them to be interested in her type of music and the band The Runaways, the headline ‘Exclusive!’ encourages people as it sounds as if they can’t get this news anywhere else and the exploitive at the end of the word would catch the eyes of possible purchasers. Also I have included a quote ‘I can’t take the public demand!’ in order to give readers a quick insight into the story and convince them further that they want to buy my magazine.

My ‘ALSO’ section aims to further convince readers to purchase as it quickly informs them of the very best things featured within this might include one of their favorite bands or artists. In addition I have used alliteration with ‘Bellamy baffles bemused fans’ this sounds nice to read and also includes a catchy pun that Muse fans would get ‘Bemused’ the band name being ‘Muse’.

Lastly there is also a ‘5 free posters’ advertisement included this may cause readers to believe they are buying well worth their money as they are getting free things that they’d have to pay for had they gone to a shop to buy the posters.

Poses photographs.

These pictures were taking as part of a photography project in which I had to include an extreme close-up a close-up and a mid shot. The 1st and 4th pictures are mid-shots, the 2nd is a close-up and the 3rd and 5th are extreme close-ups. The theme of this shoot was rebelious which is why Miss Gibson is seen blowing smoke out her mouth and swearing at the camera.

In this photo I used side lighting to amplify power, also the rule of 3rds was used to make Gibson seem more powerful as her eye line is above the mid line.

This is a below shot with behind lighting once again giving ellie power; this is usually consider a manly pose as it doesn't particularly flatter women, which is why I used it as that was also part of the task: a masculin, feminin & rebelious pose was desired.

This is my extreme close-up, the lighting complements her skin and gets rid of any blemishes. Also this shot could be seen as feminine as these shots compliment the eyes and make them seem the most important aspect.

This is a mid shot taken from the side, it shows how she doesn't care about the camera insinuating a slight rebellious nature.

Another extreme close-up here giving her power from the highest line with eyeline and also screaming rebelious as she is blowing smoke out of her mouth.
