This is the next and final step in the creation of my magazine front cover as I managed to finish it all off in the next lesson. Here you can see that I changed the colour scheme slightly instead of an orange title I made it black as I felt it would stand out more and look better with the other writing. I also moved all of the words into their margin guides, created a bar code sell price and a date, another sell line of ‘WINWINWIN’, a spot the difference game which would attract the fans and dislike-rs of Lana Del Ray, an essential songs list, an inside scoop of celebrity Poppy Frasier who I actually made up and finally the bottom line which I felt evened up the page and included identity theft into the front cover more.

Monologue.
Monologue
(Matthew Stark, age 19)
Everything costs so much bloody money! I’m just a waiter at Hallgarth Hotel, how the hell am I meant to be able to afford all the shit I need? I mean, just the other day, it was proper embarrassing to start off with, but then I find out the repairs are costing es 400 fricking quid! If the RAF weren’t so uptight about who they hired I’d be able to afford it easily, but nah; I only got 3 questions wrong in the formal and that got es a straight up ‘NO!’ (said resentfully). Who knows how to land helicopters anyway? Why would I know, I wanna be a front line gunner not a landing of thy helicopter tool, they’re all just... (sighs). I got all dressed up for that formal as well, pfft, spent bout hundred pound on a suit and shoes, just to be turned down by some overweight old timer! (Slams fist into bench).
Anyway, what was I saying? Oh aye, so, am powering down the M1, feeling pretty mint actually! I’d jus’ bin to Go Ape – that was an awesome place! You swing from trees and all sorts its well good man! This beaur of a lass took es there for me birthday (Grins cheekily). Mind you she didn’t dare swing from the highest tree, I were like ‘Claire man, there’s a net to catch you if you fall, you ain’t gonna die are ya?’ she weren’t impressed with that ‘well if you thinks it’s so easy you do it then!’ (Mocking girls voice) I didn’t actually have the guts do it either though (chuckles quietly). Claire gets 20 grand a year for teaching little kids how to count! Would not mind a bitta that dosh like!
But yeah, there I am over taking tones of slow twats, really pushing for 90 mile an hour, when all a sudden (1) BAM! Summit conks in me engine and am slowly drifting to a stop, didn’t fancy the embarrassment of breaking down right in the middle of that road like, holding up 50 odd cars? No thanks! I managed to pull into a layby, thank god!
Oh christ! You ain’t never seen nothing like it. I’m sat there in me tiny gold Punto, it were 11 o’clock at night, pitch bloody black, I were bricking it for some mutant attack to happen like in wrong turn or summit, only not in the middle of forests... obviously. Had ne cred on me phone either, wasted the last of it on Claire, tellin her I’d had a good time and what not. That was mistake. So a were stuck at the side of the motorway with no way of getting help, none of the selfish drivers were gonna stop were they. And like hell was I walking to the nearest emergency phone, could get picked up by some desperate heffer needing his bit on the side for the night, worlds full of them type’s n’all, creepy, gay, fat paedophiles.
So aye, I looked like a bloody wanka, it were worse than getting only one kill on COD, that happened to es once n’all got ragged for ages by this German freak ‘Oh har har, du ist sehr doof!’ whata creeper! I’d rather be dead than still sat on COD at 50 odd! Man had no life I bet bowl of chips one side and a sock ready for later on, that’ll be his night sorted.
Anyways, I was sat there 20 minutes, pure boredom hell! Eventually though some other poor sod broke down on the other side of the motorway, I figured we were in the same stitcher so he’d lend es a hand or summit. Took es a while to pluck up the courage to make the run for it like diving across a bust motorway in the middle of the night – not a smart idea! I got out me car looked left and right, smart thing to do really I didn’t wanna end up like that hedgehog, y’know the one yeah? From that road safety advert. (Looks confused) Yeah I even listened and at the first opening and ran for it! The drivers weren’t too happy I think I made a few of ‘em panic they were honking like mad; although if some mad man did that to me I wouldn’t be impressed. I made the first road easily, it was the next that was a little more problematic, I didn’t see it coming at all, not gonna lie, I thought it was a UFO at first (chuckles). The engine was so bloody loud! And the front beams... thought I was getting abducted man! Turned out it was just one of them Tesco lorries, it came to a swerving stop right in front of me – barley 5 inches from my face (proud of this). The lorry guy looked like her was having a heart attack I thought I was having a heart attack aswell actually (laughs) Once the guy had calmed down a bit and realised I was still alive he came storming out of his truck “What the bleeding hell do you think you’re doing boy?!” Who the hell did he think he was callling ME boy? I’m 19 for god’s sake, stupid fat heap of lard! “You coulda killed us both; it’s a motorway not an effing playground!” He went too far there I says to him “Ere mate, I know fine fucking well this is a motorway you daft twat, i’m attempting to cross it! Me cars broking down our there and I was hoping he’d help es out!” The guy just murmered summit under his breath got back in his lorry and drove off, thought it was gonna get messy, but I guess he admitted defeat! (Cocky smile).
By the time I’d managed to get over the road, the other guy had fixed his car and driven off... (Anger).

I’d never really thought of life as being so incredibly weak before, but now – after everything that’s happened I realise, like water through a crack, it can slip through your fingers within seconds.

K went with the long leather coat, black knee length heels, fiery red wig and black sunglasses for tonight’s hit. She needed a different disguise on almost every hit, just in case there were unseen witnesses; of course, if the witness was spotted they went too, just like the victim.
She jumped down from the shop roof; leather blowing behind her like a personal flock of crows; imminent death approaching majestically. The woman in front was startled, jumped back and fell onto the cold rocky ally way pavement. K raised the 9mm and pointed it at the head of the woman with an olive shaped birth mark below her left eye, ‘Miss Montage?’
‘don’t do this I beg you; I can help you I promise!’ K was startled now; they’d all begged before of course but never promised help, ‘What do you mean?’ K asked hoping desperately that this would be the woman rumours had been flying about; the woman who had the ability to take down The Company and free all the agents who had been trapped by them. ‘I can destroy them’. That was all K needed she grabbed Montages hand and pulled her up ‘Come with me, if you’re serious I accept your offer to help and I’ll keep you safe, but if not... you’re as dead as a doornail’. Montage nodded her head confidently and they ran off into the night.

Montage nodded her head confidently and they ran off into the night.
The Company had been creating a kind of super agent for centuries; children were taken from their homes as young as 5, an accident would be staged where their parents would die but it would look like the child had died too. K was taken when she was 6 trained up in every form of combat and sent out on her first hit by the age 17; she had no idea who her parents were or that they’d been killed by The Company until she was 26 now at 28 she wants her revenge and she wants to escape from The Companies grasp.
K decided to take Montage to Fisher’s house, another agent desperate for escape. It was a small hut in the middle of Sherwood forests; people rarely ventured that far in which was why Fisher liked it so much, out of the way of people of life. ‘So, we need to know exactly what you know. Every little detail Miss. Montage. You’re safe here, no-one knows where this hut is’ Fisher was being his usual straight to business self; but who could blame him? This could be the break through many agents had been waiting for. ‘You have to promise me something first...’ replied Miss. Montage.
‘What are you after?’ I asked her.
‘I’ll need protection, The Company are after me they know I can access their files; they’ll come after me and they will kill me! If you want me to tell you absolutely everything... I want your total protection until we’re safely away.’ K considered this for while, the extra weight of another person being with them; someone who had no idea how to protect themselves or how to avoid danger. There weren’t many other options however, ‘okay you have my word! But as soon as we’re safe you go. I mean that, you’re nothing but a way out to me.’

There weren’t many other options however, ‘okay you have my word! But as soon as we’re safe you go. I mean that, you’re nothing but a way out to me.’
Miss. Montage began explaining all about how she’d been working for The Company for 15 years, as an I.T technician to the world but really she had been deleting the files of all of those victims the Company had had taken down. Each time a Hitman had killed his hit their bodies were buried and every single file about their lives was deleted in order to make it completely impossible for them to be tracked down or investigated. Miss. Montage told Fisher and K that she’d known what she was doing but had avoiding guilt by telling herself it had to be done that these people needed taking down; much like the kinds of things Fisher and K told themselves. But recently The Company had become too sure of themselves too sure that their precious agents would not go against them no matter what. The Company had begun asking the older agents to work with each other and train up the young children. This was a big mistake as it meant bit by bit a few agents had realised that all of their parents had died around the time they were all 5-6 years old; they realised that he company had been killing innocent parents for years, they realised they had possibly killed innocent people. ‘Okay so you’re basically in the same position we are? You hate The Company for what they’re doing and want to get out or better yet take them out? But unlike us, you know how, you have the actual ability to do so; how?’ K asked completely intrigued by what Montage could be offering.
‘Well, I know exactly how to access The Companies logs, I know how to delete every file they have on you guys, every file they have on every single agent they’ve ever hired. I know how to publically broadcast who The Company are and what they do without harming any agents.’ Montages response was unexpected it was as if K and Fisher were completely blown away as if everything they needed, everything they wanted had suddenly come to them right there and then.

They got started as soon as possible; Fisher gave Montage a state of the art laptop and K sat and watched impatiently as Montage got to work. It was around half an hour later when Montage managed to link up to the computers at The Company. ‘Right I’m in, so far looks like I’m undetected. I just need to find the files belonging to the agents, and then delete each one; it will take a while.’ Montage informed them. ‘That’s ok, just get it done.’ Fisher replied bluntly. Later on K was getting impatient it had taken Montage ages to find the files, she felt like something was going on like something wasn’t right; K had many issues with trusting people, who could blame her in this line of work? But when Montage had eventually found the files she tracked down those belonging to Fisher and K first and got rid of them. K breathed out a sigh of relief as she was the ‘deleting’ timer run along the page like everything she’d been worrying about was over; but she knew she’d still have to run when The Company realised what they had done they’d go after them with everything they had, and to say they had a lot was an understatement.
100 agents down, after 13 relentless hours, and only 4-5 thousand more to go. But that was when it happened when everything seemed to go wrong. ‘Oh fuck!’ that’s all Fisher said two little words and K’s hope came to an end. ‘They know, they must know what you’re doing what we’re doing.’ Fisher continued when he got his breath back
‘Why, what’s happened?’ Montage asked desperately.
‘They’ve sent out a hit for you both, K they’re offering 8 million. Every agent they have will be coming here right now!’ K went white, she was the best The Company had but she was no match for every agent The Company had at once – not even the army of the United States had anything on all of them. Then she realised what Fisher had said ‘they’ve sent out a hit for you both... Why not you Fisher?’
‘They mustn’t know I’m involved, you were supposed to kill Montage and after not reporting back they must assume you two are working together to take them down; I’m sure they’ll realise as soon as the agents get here and see me’ He was right, K realised she had no reason to doubt Fisher’s intentions she had known him long enough and trusted him with everything. ‘Okay you’re right. We have to go, now!’
‘But k, I haven’t finished, what about everyone else, what about the others?’ Said Montage.
‘Ok that sounded really sweet and all but would you rather delete the files of the people who are coming to kill you or leave that for now and simply escape the people who are coming to kill [‘

and Montage stuffed the laptop into hers and ran for the door. They all ran for the door; although none of them had any idea where to go; they knew the agents would be here in less than 5 minutes but they had no idea where to run, so they simply ran north trying to submerse them further into the forest until hopefully they’d come out at some point.
K stopped, after what felt like a run that had lasted forever, she stopped still as house. Montage noticed first and stopped too ‘what, what’s wrong? She whispered. K simply placed her finger on her lips and pointed to the left, ‘they’re here’. Fisher hadn’t actually noticed them stop but had stopped himself a little further on, also here the agents slowly descending on them. There wasn’t anything K, Fisher and Montage could do; they were surrounded completely. Slowly they backed up against each other in an outward circle and awaited their inevitable fate. ‘If you’re going to kill us, do it now’ K said powerfully. ‘Now, now K, we’re only here for you and Miss. Montage; Fisher is free to go.’ K recognised the voice, it was Hodgins, someone she’d considered a friend. ‘Fisher go, you can save yourself, just go.’ But he didn’t he stayed with her and held onto her hand.
Suddenly, Montage ran as if she was so terrified she thought she had a chance of out running these insane people. She didn’t get far, ‘ooo looks like we have an early runner guys’ a million gun shots sounded all at once, when K looked back she saw Montages broken body lying on the floor barley resembling what it once was. K couldn’t wait any longer, she knew what was coming and if she was going out she was going out with pride. K quickly pulled her gun out of the back of her jeans and shot at Hodgins and the agents surrounding him, they hadn’t been expecting that; although Hodgins had managed to avoid her bullets the others hadn’t been so lucky 4-5 bodies lay on the ground. Her shots were answered by a full on cascade of bullets coming from every direction. K and fisher fell to the ground, their lives slipped away in seconds.

Before and After photoshoot pictures.
This is one of my photoshoot images before I edited it in Adobe photoshop; as you can see the background has an orangey due which makes it look less professional this is because the camera wasn't set to whiteness before the shoot.
This is the same image only I have removed the orangey due using photoshop; I first went into image and then auto colour this automatically restored the white balance. I then went into image adjustments then whiteness contrast which further balanced up the photo by setting brightness to 15 and contrast to 6.Lastly I used the dodge tool with a 60 strength to completely whiten the background and get rid of any areas the auto ones had missed.
This image Is also a before image and I did exactly the same process in order to get the image you see below.

Fast moving pictures
For this piece of work I was asked to experiment with the shutter speed on my camera in order to learn how to use and understand it. At first I was using a speed of 1/30 for the twirl photograph this caused the image to blur quite dramatically but gave it a nice speed effect. For the jumping photograph we used a speed of 20 the image didn't blur nearly as much but just enough to show where movement was in progress. And finally for the cartwheel photograph I used a speed of 1/80 this caused a very large amount of blur enough to completely distort the image but it caused a funky paranormal effect which I quite liked.

Photoshop halloween!
In order to create the grey face I played with the hue saturation, and for the bloody lips I used the burn tool and used this on the eyes as well to give it a darker more sinister effect. To pull the teeth down and give them a vampiric effect I used the magnetic lasso tool.
